Job Description

As a Web Designer, you will translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts by transforming them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional designs. You will conceptualize and implement creative ideas for websites, as well as create visual elements that are in line with the overall branding.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize unique website design ideas that are simple and user-friendly.

  • Execute all visual design stages from concept to final stage.
  • Confidently present and defend designs and key deliverables to all stakeholders.
  • Design and develop new interfaces for users.
  • Work with SEO specialists on optimizing site content.
  • Active involvement in UI / UX meetings to provide expertise and initial mockup sketches.
  • Create a style guide that dictates the colors, fonts, and design patterns that are used in the web app.
  • Create design guidelines, best practices, and standards.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Web Designer.
  • Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
  • Hands-on experience in creating wireframes, user flows, process flows, storyboards, and site maps.
  • Visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
  • Proficient with visual design and wire-framing tools.
  • Proficient in using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
  • Keep up to date with the latest web trends, techniques, and technologies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in the related field.
