Job Description

As an Animator, you will be responsible for creating highly engaging complex animations for a diverse array of media, including smartphones, tablets, and the web. You will be working with the design and illustration team, aiding with the creation of assets, then bringing them to life and delivering high-quality and innovative motion graphic content.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with designers, illustrators, and instructional designers.
  • Create engaging complex computer animations for different media.
  • Assist in the creation of animation storyboards and character animations.
  • Prepare conceptual layouts for the animation project.
  • Actively participate in brainstorming sessions to come up with new design perspectives and ideas.
  • Provide realistic timelines for each part of the process.
  • Assist in the selection of applicable audio, graphic, special effects, 2d animation, and 3d animation styles for each project.
  • Encoding, converting, editing videos, and adding effects/elements to enhance motion graphics.
  • Work with the design and illustration team with photo editing, bespoke illustration, and icon design.
  • Be up to date with animation technologies and techniques, including modern trends in product design video games, and popular music to deliver cutting-edge work.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in graphic design, motion graphics, fine arts, multimedia arts or any relevant degree.
  • 3+ years of experience as an art director
  • Hands-on computer graphic design experience that includes video production design and animation.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing high-end digital design skills.
  • Ability to comprehend and uphold brand style guidelines.
  • Use visual design to solve an array of challenges.
  • Manage time effectively, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Detail-oriented individual who has a keen eye for details.
